Background
Having spent years working within the rigid, technical boundaries of construction, and the lack of freedom growing up, water has always given that sense of freedom and comfort.
Turning to paint an object (or medium) that takes shape in different forms—depending where it's placed, where it falls, where it lands—just evokes fluidity, a kind of feeling that's always been longed for.
In these works, the imagery of being submerged in water, heavy fog blurring a window pane, and trailing rain droplets provided a visual metaphor for drifting unnoticed through society.
It also explores the experience of isolation, and the quiet, often invisible struggles of modern communication.
A compelling series of paintings that explore the artist’s emotions and responses within society, capturing the silent struggles of communication and the sensation of drifting unnoticed. This project offers a profound visual narrative for those seeking to understand the nuances of human connection and isolation through art.
